Announcing Student Group Travel Bloggers Summer 2014

It’s time to announce our newest student group travel bloggers for the summer! Millennium Tours is all about custom group travel, and student group travel happens to be our specialty. Study abroad offers opportunities like few other things students will experience in their lives. It’s a privilege to have educational travel tours inspire students to have some great adventures and make grand discoveries. Every semester, we select a couple students from our college group tours to share their group travel experiences with us on this blog. If you’d like to be the first to know when these students are posting, subscribe to the blog now!

Millennium Tours is pleased to introduce you to our summer 2014 student group travel bloggers:

Meet Mary:

Student group travel blogHello friends, family, and faithful readers, my name is Mary Kujak. I am blessed and ecstatic to be able to study abroad in Maastricht this summer. I am going into my sophomore year at Baylor University, and I am an Anthropology major with a forensic science concentration (pre-med). I am taking four courses this summer: Dutch Art History, World History, Anthropology independent study course, and a Political Science class. Being a pre-med student, I often received a confused look when I told friends and family that I was participating in a history-focused study abroad. However, it was actually this pre-med title that drove me to pick a history-themed trip. After my freshmen year of college, I realized I was not completely sure I wanted to be a doctor anymore. My history courses in the fall semester were the most intriguing this past year, and I wanted to explore more of this field before switching my major. If there are any pre-med students reading this, you know how hard it is to balance outside elective courses while taking the rigorous science classes. That is why this program was ideal; it allowed me to explore my other interests while I had the time to. Before this trip, I had never even heard of Maastricht before; however, I wanted to take an adventure, and this program allowed travel to 20+ countries through the help of Millennium Tours (a travel company based in Texas, specializing in study abroad trips). So, I hope you continue to follow my blog as I take this once in lifetime trip throughout Europe. Tot de volgende keer!

 Meet Vince:

Student Group Travel

I am an incoming junior at Baylor University. As a History major and Great Texts minor, I’ll be taking a combination of European History and Literature classes while here in Maastricht. I chose to study abroad because I learn and grow most when I’m outside of familiar places and routines. With a flexible travel schedule, fantastic location in central Europe, and culturally diverse central city, Maastricht was the perfect program for me. As a people-lover and adventure-seeker, I can’t wait to make both friends and memories during my summer abroad. I’m looking forward to sharing the many stories via this blog and my personal blogSoli Deo Gloria.
